The Powerdaylight Eco version is an extra-insulated daylight tube, making it one of the most energy-efficient daylight tubes in our range. The Eco version improves both the thermal and acoustic properties of the daylight system, making it suitable for passive construction.

Due to its extra thermal and acoustic insulation, the Eco version lets in slightly less daylight than the standard Powerdaylight. In our opinion, this standard version offers the best combination of price, insulation, and daylight penetration.

Key features compared to 'standard' Powerdaylight:

• Better insulation value: the thermal transfer coefficient (U-value) of the installed system is U = 0.7 W/m²K* (passive house standard), compared to 1.3 W/m²K for the standard model.
• Increased sound insulation: 66 dB compared to 62 dB for the standard model.
