The Powerdaylight Thermal Insulation lens (Panel) effectively reduces thermal transfer through the daylight system – a common concern with glazing and similar building elements. By acting as a thermal barrier between cold external air and the heated interior (or the reverse in warmer months), it helps maintain a stable indoor climate. This contributes to improved energy efficiency, as less energy is required to sustain a comfortable temperature. The insulation lens is included as standard in our Eco model and has been accounted for in all U-value performance testing.

The insulation lens of the Powerdaylight is always made from Vivak® UV thermoplastic copolyester. They offer high impact strength, a good fire rating and good weather resistance. These properties are demonstrated by our 10-year guarantee on mechanical strength and optical properties.
