Powerdaylight Ø 35 cm daylight dimmer

With the 35 cm daylight dimmer, you can easily control the amount of daylight entering through your Powerdaylight system. The dimmer consists of a custom-made control valve and a high-quality, pre-mounted Belimo actuator. This allows you to precisely adjust the light intake to suit the room's intended use and atmosphere.

The daylight dimmer is ideal for spaces that require plenty of natural light at times but also need the option to darken the room or reduce light intensity—such as bedrooms, living rooms, home cinemas, media rooms, game rooms, presentation spaces, and sports arenas.

Precise control and effective sealing

The control valve features a rotating disc lined with our high-quality reflective material. When the valve is open, this material ensures daylight is guided through the system as efficiently as possible.

Black felt is applied around the rotating disc. This ensures an exceptionally tight seal when the valve is closed, minimizing unwanted light entry. This makes the daylight dimmer highly suitable for rooms where light intensity control or blackout capability is desired.

Reliable Belimo actuator

The daylight dimmer comes standard with a pre-mounted Belimo actuator. Belimo is a Swiss company that has specialized for over 46 years in the development and production of components such as actuators, control valves, and sensors for building systems.

Belimo actuators are renowned for their reliability, long service life, and five-year manufacturer's warranty. The housing of the included actuator has an IP54 rating and bears the CE mark, among other certifications.

The actuator can also be operated manually if necessary. This is useful during installation or maintenance, or whenever manual operation is required.

Compact and easy to install

Thanks to the compact design of the Belimo actuator and the specially developed mounting bracket, the complete daylight dimmer can be installed in an opening of just 38 cm. Please note that this dimension excludes the optional control box.

The daylight dimmer comes standard with a pre-installed low-voltage cable measuring approximately 70 cm. If desired, this cable can be extended up to a maximum of 30 meters, allowing the control unit to be placed in a convenient and easily accessible location.

Optional control box

A separate control box is available for our daylight dimmers. We recommend purchasing this control box together with the daylight dimmer to create a complete, user-friendly plug-and-play system in which the various components are optimally matched.

Control valve also available separately

The custom-made control valve can also be supplied without the Belimo actuator. The pre-installed actuator bracket may be compatible with other suitable actuators or motors. Always verify beforehand that the desired actuator is suitable for this application in terms of dimensions, power, direction of rotation, and control method.
