The Powerdaylight Eco model is an extra-insulated daylight tube, making it one of the most energy-efficient daylight tubes in our range. The Eco model improves both the thermal and acoustic properties of the daylight system, making it suitable for passive construction.

Due to its extra thermal and sound insulation, the Eco version lets in slightly less daylight than the standard Powerdaylight. In our opinion, this standard model offers the best combination of price, insulation, and daylighting.

Key features compared to the 'standard' Powerdaylight:

• Better insulation value: the thermal transmittance (U-value) of the installed system is U = 0.5 W/m²K* (passive house standard), compared to 1.3 W/m²K for the standard model.
• Higher sound insulation: 67 dB compared to 64 dB for the standard model.
