Ideal for residential housing, commercial buildings, renovations, and new construction.

Product features

• Powerdaylight Ubiflex roof flashing is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and recyclable.
• Ubiflex carries BBA certification and is approved by NHBC and Zurich insurance.
• Ubiflex has no scrap value and is therefore of no interest to thieves.
• Ubiflex is malleable like lead, allowing it to be formed into an infinite variety of shapes.
• Ubiflex is lightweight
• Suitable for various roof types

Material Composition

• Core: Modified bitumen reinforced with an expanded aluminum mesh.

• Top Layer: Finished with PE granules in black.

Technical Properties

• Temperature Resistance: -30°C to +120°C.
• Application Temperatures:
  • Cutting, folding, and manual shaping: From -10°C.
  • Hammering/forming into masonry joints: From +5°C.
• UV Resistance: Excellent, tested according to EN 1297:2004.
• Waterproofing: Fully waterproof, compliant with BRL 1511.
• Compressive Strength: 0.2 N/mm² (simulates pressure of 10 m high masonry).
• Recyclability: 100% recyclable.

Ubiflex Standard can be painted with a water-based paint.

This allows the material to be colour-matched to the façade or other building elements, offering an aesthetic advantage in visible applications."
